Summary:
The Ice Monster is a novel about a girl Elsie, who escapes her torturous orphanage, and starts living on Londons arctic cold streets. After hearing about a "Ice Monster," she went to see for herself. Finding a unpredictable journey, with trouble at every corner, Elsie finds herself living a very exciting life. Much more exciting than living in an orphanage doing chores every day.
